How to Join the Japanese Society of Parasitology:
• To apply for membership, please search for [JSP] on “Gakkai Bank” at https://gkb.jp/society_links and complete the membership application form.
• The annual membership fee is as follows:
• Regular members: 11,000 yen
• Student members: 7,000 yen
• Councilors: 16,000 yen
• Regular members who wish to receive Parasitology International in printed form: 14,000 yen
Please pay the annual membership fee online via your personal page after logging into “Gakkai Bank.” If you are unable to pay through Gakkai Bank, please contact: jsp.office.2015★gmail.com (replace ★ with @).
• If you need to update your registered information, please make the changes via “My Page” on Gakkai Bank or contact the Society’s Secretariat by email.
• Generally, the membership start date will be the date of fee payment. However, if you wish to enroll from the next fiscal year, the start date will be January 1.
Note: Members must provide all required information accurately. Councilors are required to accurately report their date of birth in order to be properly registered on the electoral list for the triennial councilor election of the Society.
*Your membership number is required for online access to Parasitology International, the official journal of the Society.
Member Benefits:
• Eligibility to present at the annual meeting of the Japanese Society of Parasitology.
• A list of Society members will be provided at the time of its creation.
• Free online subscription to Parasitology International (published quarterly by Elsevier Science, Netherlands). Printed versions are available upon request.
• Access to the Society’s mailing list for updates and information.
Withdrawal Procedure: If you wish to withdraw from the Society, please complete the official withdrawal form and submit it to the Secretariat by fax, post, or as an email attachment.
